Thank you for shopping with Solarxin Energy Solutions Private Limited (“Solarxin”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). We want our customers to have complete clarity about warranties on products purchased through our platform.
Since Solarxin is not the manufacturer or an authorized seller, all product warranties are provided solely by the respective manufacturer or their authorized sellers/partners. Solarxin does not issue or extend any independent product warranties.
This Warranty Policy sets out the scope, process, and limitations regarding warranty support.
1. Nature of Warranty
-
All solar products purchased through Solarxin are covered under the standard manufacturer’s warranty.
-
The duration, coverage, and conditions of warranty vary by product and brand. These are specified in the warranty card or product documentation provided by the manufacturer.
-
Solarxin’s role is limited to facilitating the customer with proof of purchase and assisting in connecting with the relevant manufacturer/authorized partner.
2. Solarxin’s Responsibility
Solarxin will:
-
Provide proof of purchase (invoice/order confirmation) required for warranty claims.
-
Help customers contact the manufacturer/authorized seller for warranty processing.
-
Where feasible, coordinate between the customer and the authorized partner to assist with claims.
Solarxin will not:
-
Independently provide or extend warranties.
-
Guarantee approval of warranty claims.
-
Be responsible for delays or rejections by the manufacturer/authorized seller.
3. Manufacturer’s Warranty Coverage
While warranty terms differ per brand, manufacturer warranties generally cover:
-
Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
-
Replacement or repair of faulty components.
-
Warranty periods (e.g., solar panels: 10–25 years; batteries: 3–5 years; inverters: 1–5 years), depending on brand terms.
Customers must read the manufacturer’s warranty card/manual for specific details.
4. Exclusions from Warranty
Unless explicitly stated by the manufacturer, warranties do not cover:
-
Damage caused by improper handling, storage, or transportation.
-
Issues due to incorrect installation not performed by authorized technicians.
-
Damage caused by power surges, short circuits, lightning, natural disasters, or external events.
-
Normal wear and tear or consumable parts (such as fuses, connectors, or wiring).
-
Unauthorized modifications, repairs, or tampering.
-
Issues arising from non-compliance with manufacturer guidelines.
5. Installation & Service Warranty (Solarxin Scope)
-
If Solarxin provides installation services, we may offer a limited service warranty covering workmanship (e.g., installation-related faults) for a period of up to 6 months from installation date.
-
This warranty applies only to the installation service, not to the product itself.
-
Any product-related issues must be handled through the manufacturer’s warranty.
6. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, customers must:
-
Review the manufacturer’s warranty card/manual for eligibility.
-
Contact the manufacturer’s authorized service center or seller directly.
-
Provide:
-
Original purchase invoice/order confirmation from Solarxin
-
Warranty card/manual (if included)
-
Photos/videos of the defect or damaged product (if requested)
-
-
If needed, contact Solarxin at contact@solarxin.com for assistance in coordinating with the partner.
7. Processing of Warranty Claims
-
Inspection: The manufacturer/authorized service center may inspect the product to verify eligibility.
-
Repair/Replacement: The manufacturer may repair or replace the product as per their policy.
-
Timeline: Warranty processing timelines vary and are determined solely by the manufacturer. Solarxin does not control these timelines.
8. Limitation of Liability
-
Solarxin is not liable for:
-
The outcome of warranty claims (approval/rejection).
-
Delays in repair/replacement by the manufacturer.
-
Losses or damages resulting from product failure.
-
-
Solarxin’s liability is limited only to providing support documentation and assistance for claims.
9. Customer Responsibilities
-
Customers must retain invoices, warranty cards, and original packaging until the warranty period expires.
-
Customers are responsible for following manufacturer usage and maintenance guidelines.
-
Any improper use or unauthorized modifications will void the manufacturer’s warranty.
